Frequently asked questions
What is the Partnership Village?
The Partnership Village is a community of selfless, devoted and passionate people who are ready to commit their skills, knowledge, expertise and substance (cash or kind) towards the development of the next generation of leaders in Africa across all sectors.
How can I partner with TGLC?
Give financially as a Financial Partner, or commit your skills, knowledge and expertise through training, mentorship and skill sharing as a Working Partner.
Who do you work with?
No one raises a leader alone. We work with the UBC Sauder School of Business on LIFT Ghana, universities, colleges and schools across Ghana, and mentors, coaches and corporate volunteers. In 2024 we worked with CDKN and SouthSouthNorth on youth climate action.
How can my organisation get involved?
Give your staff’s time: employees can mentor a leader or coach an Impact Lab, and their hours can count towards your company’s volunteering programme. Partner on a programme: co-run a training, a bootcamp or a Youth Think Next day in a school. Open doors: host leaders for site visits and internships, or bring your expertise to a Lab.
What makes TGLC different?
Most programmes end at training. Ours begins there. We hold leadership and entrepreneurship together. Every leader joins an Impact Lab, builds a project with a team and is measured by what they build.
What does it cost a leader to join?
Nothing. Every place in our Leadership Development Training is a fully funded scholarship, so selection depends on commitment, not money.
Where are you heading?
2,500 leaders trained and 500 in our network by 2030.
How are you governed and held accountable?
We are a nonprofit company limited by guarantee, registered in Ghana under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992). An Executive Council governs our work under a written constitution, and our accounts are audited.
